Graduate Minor in Horticulture (Ph.D. only)
Horticulture faculty are supportive of students from other disciplines who wish to minor in Horticulture. A student who wishes to minor in Horticulture should consult a regular (non-adjunct) member of the Horticulture faculty. This faculty member will determine how many and which courses related to horticulture and/or horticultural research components are required to fulfill a minor in Horticulture. Oral and/or written examinations as outlined by the Graduate School are applicable according to the discretion of this faculty member. This faculty member must be appointed to the student's graduate advisory committee. A written statement outlining the requirements, signed by the student, the faculty member, and the Chair of the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture, should be filed with the Program Coordinator in the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture.
